THE POURING OF THE BRONZE

Stage Fourteen


The Sculptor and Dick Polich (founder of
Polich Art Works) confer while the
bronze is melted preparatory to the pour.
The ceramic shell is lifted into place.



The molten bronze is poured into the crucible.


The bronze is about to be
poured into the ceramic mold.
The bronze is poured.


Twelve hours later it will be cooled, the ceramic shell broken away and the raw bronze ready for finishing.


Stage Fifteen

The sections of the bronze are welded together
