Crazy
Bronze limited edition of 35

September 5, 1877.

Brotherhood. Betrayal. Crazy Horse - brave leader of the Oglala Sioux, victor over Custer at the Little Big Horn just a little over a year earlier - Crazy Horse, the Indian whose soul will never be conquered, makes a final break for freedom as he resists arrest, confinement and certain death in the Fort Robinson stockade. But, as foretold in a vision, his arms are pinioned by not only one of his own people, but by Little Big Man, a former faithful friend who, sadly come to the belief that it is better to be safe than sorry, is now in the employ of the Indian Police.
Within moments, a soldier's bayonet will kill Crazy Horse. But for this man, defiant to the very end, Oglala Sioux to the very end, Little Big Man's act of betrayal, his cold and tragic embrace, have killed Crazy Horse just as surely as the piece of steel that will shortly run him through.
